Weekday activities at Wesley Church

As a centre-city congregation, many people come from some distance, so most events happen on a Sunday. However, some activities happen during the week.

English Language Conversation

An English language conversation class, which meets each Thursday from 10.00 am - midday, and from 2.00 - 4.00 pm.
It meets in the School House at the rear of the Church.

Choir practice

The morning choir meets for practice at 7.00 pm each Thursday.

The evening choir meets for practice at 8.00 pm, two Wednesdays each month.

Organ Recital

The organist, Geoff Urquhart, presents an organ recital every Wednesday at 1.00 - 1.30 pm.

This is open to the public, and is free of charge.

Sausage sale

A group of eager volunteers cook and sell sausages for lunch to the public from midday - 1.00 pm on the fourth Friday each month.

Craft Group

The Craft Group meets on the first Thursday of each month in the Old School House, from 12.30 - 3.00 pm, and works on a range of knitting, embroidery and similar craft projects. These projects commonly support people in need worldwide.
